G & T

Carolyn, Roxie, Ben

Ben, Terry, Roxie, Carolyn

I dragged my boyfriend to NYC last Saturday for dinner with my cousin Carolyn and her boyfriend Steve. My friend Terry "Tax Evasion" Park joined us for drinks on the Lower East Side afterward. It was a good time despite exhaustion. However, given the fact I stopped counting how many G & T s I had after the 6th, you can only imagine what the toilet bowl meant to me the next morning. So I have purchased the new miracle hangover cure called Chaser. I will let you know if it works.

After Carolyn and Steve left, Ben and I went dancing at this random club in Tribeca. Pretty in Pink was on the big screen and the music was all 80s!!!

I'm in Chicago with Mom and Dad until tomorrow. Chicago is now one of my favorite cities in the U.S. I might even like it more than NYC.

It looks like Ben and I'll be joining Terry for Founder's Day at Vassar in May! I can't believe I'll be one of those sleazy alumns in their late 20s returning to college to commit as many deadly sins as possible in a 12 hour period. Should be good.

Mussolini’s Revenge

Backstreet’s back but not to normal. I caught some sort of bug in Italy (to add insult to that trip’s injury) that left me writhing in pain last week. My digestive system has been a wreck since last Tuesday and now I’m on the same antibiotics they use to treat anthrax exposure. Today I ate the first meal of solid foods I’ve had in a week. I must have lost ten pounds since last Tuesday but I am not happy about it. I know those pounds’ll jump right back on once I start eating normally. Poor Benji had to suffer through my whining all weekend. I took him home with me to hang out with the family. It was a great time despite my ailment and, surprisingly, he doesn’t want to get rid of me! God bless you.

A Trial of Errors

Even posting on this subject is difficult! I tried to post from my home computer about our trip to Italy but my stolen wireless internet connection is not cooperating. I have a mind to go complain to the neighbors next door about their system. Shame on them! : )

Italy was an exercise in Murphy's Law. Everything went wrong, including Air France losing my luggage on the way over. They have yet to locate it and it has been a while. The bag is gone... sucked into a French void. Florence was cold and rainy. We were in a hotel room next to the most obnoxious Americans. However we did see my sister, visited family in Paduli and saw some wonderful things. Nevertheless I'm very happy to be home. The greatest part about being back is spending time with my favorite Pope lover!!

I will post photos when the neighbors get their asses in gear. Cheers!

Ciao Francesco Rinaldi!

What does not taste like The Olive Garden and has no problem grabbing your butt cheeks? ITALY!

Mom, Dad and I are off to Florence today for one week. We'll be visiting my sister who is "studying" abroad this semester. It's great that Sophia will also be hanging out with us this weekend! She's my good Aussie friend who's currently studying in Trieste.

I promised to bring the Pope back for Ben. Of course he'll have to fight my grandmother, Anyu, to get to her beloved Benedict. P.S. I'll try my best. Miss you already.
