The Constant Gardener

I watched The Constant Gardener last night and it's a fantastic film about a big drug company's exploitation of AIDS patients in Kenya. While highly political films make me nervous (especially if they labor their points of view), I felt that the narrative developed its humanity through the love story between Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz. City of God, directed by the same guy, Fernando Meirelles, is next on my list.
On a lighter note, my friends took me to lunch for my birthday today. We laugh so much it's a shock we haven't been kicked out of any eating establishments, even Fuddruckers.

Sounds like your having fun Rox, good for you- oh and movie reviews, I like movie reviews, I'll add this to my movies I want to see list! and I agree with the point about it getting grating when political or social or moral or any point is pushed at you until you can't listen anymore- its not a good way to persuade someone!
Very true. That's why I will not see anything that that liberal (not big "L" liberal) douche-bag George Clooney produces (i.e. the new movie Good Night and Good Luck). Don't get me wrong, I am on the little "l" side of the fence (as you are) but Clooney is out of control... a real bullshitter.
Roxie- blog some more- when I am searching the internet to avoid study- I need something to look at!
Yes, Ma'am!
