Geegal Operatives in the Field
I finally left my beloved Geegalians and it was the most difficult thing I've ever had to do. I tend to make very strong emotional attachments to people, often ones that can't or won't be reciprocated. However, this time I believe I met my matches. My friends in AUS, my favorite International Rednecks and "Regular" People, will be my friends for life, I hope. I have never met such a great group of people... All my love.
I am back in NZ, now on the North Island. Auckland was cool, so was Rotorua (even though it smelled like rotten eggs due to the geothermal activity). I am now in Taupo, ready to soak my backpacker bones in some hot water. Ojala que el jacuzzi hace mucho calor! (God, I hope that's the correct use of Spanish)P.S. I will update my links and photos when I get back to the States for debriefing and cocktails!
